Fees: The standard workshop fee is £45.00 per hour. Please get in touch via the contact page to request an informal quote. Please see the list at the bottom of this page for an indicative price list.
Guitar Repair:
Fretwork, electronic repair and replacement, pickup fault diagnosis and rectification, nut correction, structural reinforcement, neck and headstock reconstruction (please note that all major structural work will be thoroughly discussed before commencement).
Maintenance:
Fret dressing, string gauge changes (nut correction, intonation, truss rod), potentiometer and switch replacement, hardware and electronic upgrades.
Guitar sales and exchange:
Find your next guitar or sell your old instrument. All conditions, brands, and styles considered. Also guitar accessories and effects.
Indicative Prices:
Fret level, crown, polish, truss rod adjustment: £65.00
Action adjustment (eg. string gauge change): £30.00
Complete refret (inc. all materials): £120.00
Full electronics rebuild (inc. all materials (excl. pickups): £70.00
Electronics diagnosis and "quick fix": £20.00
Nut replacement (inc. materials): £45.00
Please call for a more comprehensive quote. Note: all work on the guitar's neck will require the addition of new strings at around £8.00 for a standard Rotosound set.
